The Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning in the School of Architecture at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning. This position is an academic professional track (non-tenure) position with a 9 month service appointment. A successful candidate will be expected to teach 3 to 4 class a semester (Fall and Spring) on Landscape Design and Landscape Communications as well as some service to the department.
The Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning (LAUP) contains 46 full-time faculty members and lecturers and offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in landscape architecture, urban planning, and land and property development. The department has strong interdisciplinary ties to the world-renowned Hazard Reduction and Recovery Center, the Institute of Sustainable Coastal Communities, the Center for Housing and Urban Development, Center for Health Systems and Design, and other centers and certificate programs in related fields within the College of Architecture.
