The Department of Primary Care & Rural Medicine, School of Medicine at Texas A&M University invites applications for two (2), full-time, Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) positions with an 11-month academic appointment beginning in the Fall of 2024. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor depending on qualifications. The Texas A&M University School of Medicine educates medical students and trains residents for a broad scope of practices that prepare them to practice in urban, suburban, and rural settings, or to consider a career in Academic Family Medicine. The responsibilities for the successful candidate include but are not limited to: obstetric care; inpatient hospital medicine; inpatient/outpatient pediatrics; direct patient care; teaching clinical practice of family medicine to medical students, residents, and fellows; night and weekend call; and rotation with other faculty in the coverage of inpatient hospital services.
