The Texas A&M University Rangel School of Pharmacy invites nominations and applications for a faculty position in Social and Administrative Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This is an 11-month, tenure-track/tenure review upon hire position in College Station, and the start date is late Fall 2024/Spring 2025. Faculty rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor) and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities would include developing and maintaining a sustainable and extramurally-funded research program, and making significant contributions to research in the department related to one or multiple broader areas including pharmacoepidemiology, utilization and cost of medication and other health care services, sociobehavioral aspects of patient care and health outcomes, and related research areas. Additional responsibilities include teaching/assisting in the delivery of the School’s PharmD and/or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences programs (e.g., pharmacy management and pharmacoepidemiology and public health), mentoring and advising of students and postdocs, and contributing to establishing a positive, supportive and collaborative environment. Current research in the department with potential for collaboration include: pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, as well as drug delivery and formulations, cardiovascular, diabetes, oncology, and infectious disease. There are ample opportunities to engage in collaborative research, conduct applied and contract research, and contribute to enhancing the research portfolio and the service mission of the College and Texas A&M University.
