Our clinicians address conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and PTSD with advanced, evidence-based approaches. The department has developed a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating these disorders across diverse populations, from young adults to veterans, integrating both conventional therapies and cutting-edge treatments.
Each chosen candidate’s primary academic responsibility will be in the education and teaching of medical students and psychiatric residents. The faculty member will be required to educate students and residents within both clinical and didactic classroom settings.
Each chosen candidate’s secondary academic responsibility will be in the area of service. The candidate will serve as a role model for future physicians, knowledge leader for community physicians, and will provide service on departmental and clinical committees as assigned.
Each chosen candidate will also maintain an active psychiatric practice, providing high-quality evidence-based care to the population served.
