The Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering, College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time, tenured or tenure-track position at the assistant professor, associate professor or full professor level with a 9-month academic appointment beginning Fall 2025. There is also the possibility of an additional summer appointment, contingent upon need and availability of funds. We are seeking candidates with expertise in drilling, reservoir, or production engineering. While we prefer candidates with a strong background in drilling, reservoir and/or production engineering, particular consideration will be given to those who can address both established and emerging challenges in petroleum engineering. This position will involve teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting innovative and impactful research, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, participate in all aspects of the department’s activities; and serve the profession. Successful candidates will contribute to the department's mission of providing an outstanding education and generating exceptional research.
