Description

The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry in the College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University invites applications for up to three full-time academic professional track (non-tenure track) positions with an 11-month appointment beginning spring semester of 2025.  Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Associate Professor , depending on qualifications. 

Responsibilities include coordinating clinical activity, supervising patient care, participating in undergraduate didactic and clinical teaching, evaluation of dental students' professionalism, clinical progress, and performance, as well as counseling students regularly. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching and service. The opportunity for extramural private practice is available.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree from a U.S. or accredited dental school. 

Candidates must have a demonstrable record of experience in all fields of general dentistry, have strong clinical skills, a strong background in clinical practice, and be familiar with current dental technologies.

Eligible for licensure in Texas.

All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
