Description

The Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full-time academic professional track (non-tenure) position. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of instructional assistant professor or instructional associate professor depending on qualifications.  This position is for a 3-month summer academic appointment followed by a 9-month academic appointment contingent upon need and availability of funds, beginning June of 2025. The successful applicant will teach primarily at the undergraduate level in support of the development of the undergraduate programs; advise and mentor undergraduate students; contribute to teaching and mentoring of graduate students, as appropriate to experience; participate in all aspects of the department’s activities; and serve the profession. Qualifications

For appointments at the Instructional Assistant Professor or Instructional Associate Professor level, applicants must have an earned doctoral degree in biomedical engineering or a closely-related discipline, or a Master’s level degree appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field.
