Description

The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking applications for one full-time, non-tenure-track position at the rank of Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses and may assist with lab coordination in our organic program.  In addition to their teaching, the successful applicant will have a strong commitment to undergraduate chemistry education and student success. All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching of the highest quality. This position is a 9-month full-time academic appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025 for the 2025-2026 academic year, with a possibility of renewal beyond that period.

Qualifications

This position requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field prior to the start date.  We are seeking candidates with potentital to demonstrate excellence in the classroom and in mentoring students outside the classroom.  Preferred qualifications: experience in teaching Organic Chemistry.
