Description

The Department of Public Service and Administration in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites applications for a 10-month appointment as a non-tenured instructor starting August 1, 2025.  Successful candidates will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of policy-relevant research, contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, and provide service to the university and the profession. This is a full-time 10-month appointment.

The Department of Public Service and Administration at the Bush School of Government and Public Service offers a nationally recognized Master’s Degree program in Public Service & Administration with tracks in Policy Analysis, Public Management, Nonprofit Management and Homeland Security. We are also launching a new undergraduate program in the fall of 2025. Our interdisciplinary faculty features scholars in economics, public policy, political science, public administration, and nonprofit management. Qualifications

The applicant must have a master's degree in economics and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field; previous experience teaching undergraduate econometrics; and demonstrated research interests in environmental and resource economics, health economics and public policy. Applicants must have at least one solo-authored publication in a peer-reviewed academic journal.
