The Department of Geography in the College of Arts & Sciences and the Department of International Affairs in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invite applications for a joint position as Associate Professor of the Practice with an emphasis on GeoSpatial Intelligence. This academic professional track, non-tenure accruting position will support our B.S. degree programs, the graduate certificate program in GeoSpatial Intelligence. and the Masters of Geoscience program. The successful candidate must have a primary commitment to education and the development of professionals in the broad field of GeoSpatial Intelligence but will also be expected to take on service roles within the Department Geography and/or the Colleges. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach both residential and online courses (3 course equivalents per semester). This is a nine-month full-time annual appointment with an anticipated start date of August 2025.
