The Department of Kinesiology & Sport Management (KNSM) (https://knsm.tamu.edu) within the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University is accepting applications for one full-time, tenure-track/tenured faculty position at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level. We are seeking candidates who are well versed in mentoring faculty and doctoral students, who have a proven record of high impact research, ability to garner external funding, and leadership abilities. Strong candidates will be established scholars with an impactful research program that will advance the current department’s research strengths. The candidate will become an integral part of the Sport Management faculty, with expectations to engage in research efforts including interdisciplinary collaborations, aggressively seek funding opportunities, provide research mentorship for students, as well as teach graduate/undergraduate courses, and be involved in service responsibilities.
Appointment: Nine-month, full-time, tenure-track/tenured position with a start date of August 1, 2026. All tenure-track/tenured faculty members are expected to make significant contributions in the areas of scholarly research/creative work, teaching, and service.
