Description

The Department of Finance at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications for a two part-time, non-tenure positions with a 4.5-month academic appointment beginning January 2026. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title(s) of Visiting Professor of the Practice, Visiting Associate Professor of the Practice, or Visiting Assistant Professor of the Practice, depending on qualifications.  

The successful candidate is expected to teach one course on commercial real estate finance, investment, and analysis to either undergraduate- or graduate-level students. 

Qualifications

Applicants for this position must possess a masters degree in Real Estate Finance or Finance or related field and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field.  Or applicant must have an extraordinary record of accomplishment in commercial real estate and substantive experience in real estate investment, development, or finance.
