The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the Texas A&M University College of Dentistry invites applications for one full time 100% FTE, academic professional track (non-tenure) faculty position with an 11-month appointment beginning Spring 2026, or negotiable. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor; rank commensurate on review of qualifications. Faculty responsibilities include:
· Clinical Coordination & Supervision: Coordinate clinical activities and supervise patient care to ensure excellence in service delivery and adherence to institutional standards.
- Instruction & Course Leadership: Serve as instructor and/or course director for pre-doctoral courses, contributing to curriculum design and implementation.
- Evidence-Based Teaching: Develop and deliver lectures that are grounded in current scientific evidence and best practices in dentistry.
- Simulation & Laboratory Instruction: Teach in simulation clinics and laboratory settings, supporting students in developing foundational clinical competencies.
- Clinical Education: Provide direct clinical instruction and mentorship during patient care, guiding students through procedures and decision-making.
- Student Evaluation & Support: Assess students’ professionalism, clinical progress, and performance; offer regular academic and career counseling to foster growth and success.
- Departmental Engagement: Participate in departmental initiatives, including committee service, faculty meetings, and collaborative academic activities
