Description

Texas A&M University's Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy and St. Joseph Health, College Station, TX, invite applications for a full-time non-tenure-track ambulatory care faculty position with an 11-month academic appointment beginning Summer 2023.  This is an ambulatory care position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

The position requires teaching, service, and research to the Department/College, the profession, and the public. The position provides opportunities for an individual with a strong commitment to an academic career, emphasizing innovative educational, service, and scholarly activities.  Scholarly activity is required; clinical research, publication, and presentation activities are expected. The academic responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, participation in an interprofessional education program, education to students and residents.  Service and scholarly duties will consist of collaboration with other clinicians in developing ambulatory care practice and research model.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a PharmD or other professional pharmacy degree from an accredited college/pharmacy school in the US.  The candidate must be licensed as a pharmacist in Texas or be eligible for licensure by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Preference will be given to candidates with a PGY2 in ambulatory care, and experience in clinical research.
