Applicants should have teaching expertise related to industrial distribution and should be capable of teaching courses in one or more of the following areas: industrial sales and marketing, leadership, strategic relationships, purchasing, quality, finance, and general industrial distribution.
For appointments at Associate Professor of the Practice or Professor of the Practice level, applicants must have, at the minimum, a master's level degree appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field, or have an extraordinary record of accomplishment in an applied setting. There may be additional requirements depending on the specific faculty title.
For appointments at Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Principal Lecturer, Instructional Assistant Professor, Instructional Associate Professor, or Instructional Professor level, applicants must have a doctoral degree in a closely related engineering or science discipline, or a master's level degree appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field, or have an extraordinary record of accomplishment in an applied setting. There may be additional requirements depending on the specific faculty title.
For appointments at the Visiting Assistant Professor, Visiting Associate Professor, and Visiting Professor level, applicants must have a doctoral degree in a closely related engineering or science discipline.
For appointments at the Senior Professor level, applicants must have a doctoral degree in a closely related engineering or science discipline and have substantial experience in academia.
