Description

The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University  anticipates an opening for an Academic Professional Track position at the McAllen Higher Education Center beginning in fall semester 2024. This is a full-time non-tenure track teaching position with a 9-month academic appointment, at the title of lecturer or instructional assistant professor, depending on qualifications and experience. Faculty in lecturer positions are expected to teach four courses per semester. Faculty in instructional assistant professor positions are expected to teach three courses per semester and perform service to the department and/or college. 

 

Qualifications

The applicant must have a Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field.
