Description

The Department of Communication and Journalism in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for two Visiting Lecturer positions starting in the fall semester of 2024.  These positions are full-time, 9-month, non-tenure accruing positions. Responsibilities for these positions include a teaching load of four courses per semester.  Salary for Visting Lecturers will be commensurate with entry-level instructors and positions may be renewable.  

The Department of Communication and Journalism offers PhD, MA, BA, and BS degrees, and has over 40 faculty members, more than 40 graduate students, and over 1,800 undergraduate students. Qualifications

Completed M.A. or Ph.D. in Communication or related discipline is required. Successful candidates will possess a strong pedagogical background for teaching public speaking and argumentation. Candidates with a M.A. must also have significant teaching experience at the college level in communications or a related field.
