Texas A&M University, Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy invite applications for a full-time non-tenure-track faculty position at the Clinical Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in the Department of Pharmacy Practice with an 11 month academic appointment beginning fall semester 2022.  

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internal medicine clinical practice. Preference will be given to candidates with a PGY2 in pharmacotherapy, or internal medicine.  The position requires teaching, service, and research to the Department/College, the profession, and the public. The position provides opportunities for an individual with a strong commitment to an academic career emphasizing innovative educational, service, and scholarly activities.  Scholarly activity is required; publication, clinical research, and presentation activities are expected. The academic responsibilities will include, but not limited to the education to students and residents.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a PharmD or other professional pharmacy degree from another accredited college/pharmacy school in the US.  The candidate must be licensed as a pharmacist in Texas or be eligible for licensure by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. The candidate will be expected to develop an internal medicine clinical practice. Preference will be given to candidates with a PGY2 in pharmacotherapy, internal medicine.
