Description

The Department of Multidisciplinary Engineering, College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time academic professional track (non-tenure) position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning fall 2022. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of associate professor of the practice or professor of the practice depending on qualifications.

The successful applicant will be required to teach, advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, and participate in all aspects of the department’s activities, as well as serve the profession. The position is requested to a) meet the increasing demand of students who are enrolled in the project management certificate, and the project management minor, b) add additional professional skill development and mentoring; and c) meet the need for additional curriculum development in the areas of project management relevant to the workforce.

Qualifications

For appointments at Associate Professor of the Practice or Professor of the Practice, level, applicants must have, at the minimum, an earned master's level degree or at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline for professor of practice level titles.  We will also consider applicants with a bachelor's degree and significant professional experience.
