Description

The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry invites applications for up to two full-time non-tenure track positions with an 11 month academic appointment beginning fall semester 2022.  Applicants will be considered for the titles of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor depending on qualifications. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical activity, supervising patient care, participating in undergraduate didactic and clinical teaching, evaluation of dental students’ professionalism, clinical progress, and performance, as well as counseling students regularly. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching and service. The opportunity for extramural private practice is available. 

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected applicant.

Qualifications

Candidate must have a DDS, DMD or advanced degree from a U.S. or accredited dental school and be eligible for licensure in Texas. Candidate should have experience in all fields of general dentistry, have strong clinical skills, a strong background in clinical practice, and be familiar with current dental technologies.   

All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
