Special Education Tenure Track/Tenured Associate/Full Professor of Special Education

The Educational Psychology Department in the School of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time Tenure-track Associate/Full Professor Position in Special Education. Candidates are expected to demonstrate evidence of major research accomplishments indicative or their expertise in one or more of the following areas: bilingual special education, early childhood special education, academic/instructional interventions (especially mathematics or science related), high incidence disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, special education policy, school-based behavioral interventions, or another Special Education area of critical need. We seek a leader in the field of special education with a strong track-record of research excellence and externally grant-funded work related to special education and special populations.

This is a nine-month Tenure Track/Tenured appointment with an anticipated start date no later than fall semester of 2024. Salary is competitive and commensurate with faculty rank and qualifications. 




 

Qualifications

Required qualifications:
Ph.D. in special education or related field
Success/ record of securing extramural funding
Evidence of programmatic research and high impact publications
Strong commitment to teaching and mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students
Commitment to collaboration and mentoring of students and/or junior colleagues
