Description

The Department of Information and Operations Management at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning Fall 2025. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Assistant Professor.  

The successful candidate is expected to teach three courses per year, provide service, and publish high quality research.

The INFO Department has 10 clinical faculty, 23 tenure-track faculty, 3 full time lecturers, 500 undergraduate majors (300 IS and 200 Supply Chain), 200 MS students and a PhD program.  

 

The College Station-Bryan metro area has a population of nearly 300,000, a low cost of living (including no state income taxes), excellent schools, very low crime, and excellent health care. The College Station airport is served by American Airlines. College Station is a 1:20 drive to the Houston airport, 2 hours to the Austin airport, and 3 hours to the Dallas-Fort Worth airport.

Qualifications

 

Applicants for this position must possess a PhD in Information Systems, Operations Management, or an equivalent, or obtain a PhD in these areas prior to the start date.
