The Department of Public Service and Administration in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, with expertise in any field related to public policy, starting in August 2025. All tenured and tenure-track faculty members are expected to make significant contributions in the areas of scholarly research/creative work, teaching, and service. Successful candidates will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of policy-relevant research, contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, and provide service to the university and the profession. We are especially interested in candidates who are well-prepared to teach policy analysis, public finance, microeconomics, and/or quantitative methods. This is a full-time 9-month appointment with a standard 2-2 teaching load.
The Department of Public Service and Administration at the Bush School of Government and Public Service offers a nationally recognized Master’s Degree program in Public Service & Administration with tracks in Policy Analysis, Public Management, Nonprofit Management and Homeland Security. We are also launching a new undergraduate program in the fall of 2024. Our interdisciplinary faculty features scholars in economics, public policy, political science, public administration, and nonprofit management.
