Description

The Department of International Affairs in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track, instructional assistant professor in the area of international political economy, to work in the School’s teaching site in Washington, D.C.  The position will be for a period of two-years, with the possibility of renewal.  The start date for this position will be Sept. 1 2025.  The successful candidate will teach five courses per academic year in professional master’s degree programs in international affairs, including two sections of the required course on the global economy and three other elective courses to be determined in consultation with the department head.  A reasonable amount of department and professional service will also be expected.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in political science with a specialization in the sub-field of international political economy to be considered.  The successful applicant will also have teaching expertise in the subject area of geo-economics and in the regional area of East Asia.
