Description

The Adam C. Sinn ’00 Department of Finance at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time tenured faculty positions at the Associate Professor or Professor level, with nine-month academic appointments beginning Fall 2027.

We are seeking scholars of distinction who have demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and leadership within the field of finance. Successful candidates will be established or emerging leaders whose work shapes the discipline through high-impact publications, intellectual contributions, and academic mentorship.

Faculty in these roles will be expected to:

  • Maintain an active, visible research agenda with publications in premier finance journals,
  • Provide intellectual leadership within the department, contributing to doctoral education and faculty development,
  • Deliver rigorous, engaging instruction at all academic levels, and
  • Engage in service, collaboration, and outreach that enhance the department’s national and international reputation.

The Adam C. Sinn ’00 Department of Finance is recognized for its collaborative culture, research excellence, and strong industry connections. Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field is required, as well as candidates should demonstrate a record of high-quality, influential research published in leading academic journals.

Preferred evidence of research leadership, such as editorial service, academic collaboration, or mentoring, is highly valued.

Exceptional candidates with a sustained record of scholarly acheivement may be considered for endowed or named positions.
