Description

The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for academic professional track faculty positions at the research professor levels with teaching expertise in civil engineering. The successful applicants will perform research and occasionally teach, participate in the department’s activities, and serve the profession. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Applicants should consult the department’s website to review our academic and research programs (engineering.tamu.edu/civil).

Applicants must have a masters or doctoral degree in a closely related engineering or science discipline.

The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M is proud to be among the top civil and environmental engineering programs in the country, ranked 8th in undergraduate programs and 9th in graduate programs at public institutions. Texas A&M civil engineering graduates are highly recruited and widely regarded as among the most work-ready young engineers in the country. The department currently has 54 tenured and tenure-track faculty and 17 academic professional track faculty members. Our student population is comprised of 725 undergraduate students (sophomore to senior level) and close to 500 graduate students.
