Description

The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution Department (ETID) at Texas A&M University invites applications for academic professional track faculty positions at the lecturer, instructional professor, and professor of practice levels with teaching expertise related to engineering technology (electronic systems, manufacturing and mechanical, mechatronics and technical management) for academic year 2019-2020. The successful applicants will teach at both the undergraduate and/or graduate levels in support of the development of the educational programs; advise and mentor students; participate in all aspects of the department's activities; and serve the profession. Instructional track professors may also teach regular graduate courses and special topic seminars, as well as supervise graduate in professional practicum experiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Applicants should consult the department's website to review our academic and research programs (engineering.tamu.edu/etid).

Applicants must have, at the minimum, an earned bachelor level degree for professor of practice level titles.  Candidates for other academic professional track titles must have a masters or doctoral degree in a closely related engineering or science discipline.
