The Department of Economics is seeking to fill one position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Advanced Assistant Professor in the field of Econometrics.  This tenure-track position is a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2020.  Preference will be given to econometricians who also have a demonstrated interest in applied research.  Complementarities with the research of current faculty are essential.

In addition to publishing in leading journals, the successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise graduate students as well as participate in the econometrics workshop, serve on an appropriate department committee, and be involved as a member of the Ph.D. dissertation committees.

Qualifications

This position requires a Ph.D. in economics or a related field.  All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.
