The Texas A&M Rangel College of Pharmacy invites nominations and applications for a faculty position in the department of pharmaceutical sciences. This is an 11-month, tenure-track/tenure review upon hire position in Kingsville and/or College Station. Faculty ranks (Associate or Full Professor-rank) and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities would include developing and maintaining a sustainable and extramurally-funded research program, and making significant contributions to research in the department related to one or multiple broader areas of biomedical, pharmaceutical, or related research areas. Additional responsibilities include teaching/assisting in the delivery of our professional doctor of pharmacy and PhD in pharmaceutical sciences programs, mentoring and advising of students and postdocs; and contributing to establishing a positive, supportive and collaborative environment. The recruited faculty member is also expected to utilize and/or add to the established research resources and core facilities of the department. Current research in the department with potential for collaboration include; drug delivery and formulations, cardiovascular, diabetes, oncology, and infectious disease. Thus, there are ample opportunities to engage in collaborative research, conduct applied and contract research, and contribute to enhancing the research portfolio and the service mission of the College and Texas A&M University.
