The Department of Periodontics, College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position with an 11-month academic appointment beginning June 2022 or Fall 2022. Applicants will be considered for titles of Assistant Graduate Program Director or Assistant Clinic Director. This will be a Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor position commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Successful candidates are expected to have earned a DMD/DDS degree and must be board-certified with the American Board of Periodontology. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical activity, supervising patient care, participating in graduate didactic and clinical teaching, evaluation of dental students’ professionalism, supervision of Periodontics residents clinical progress, and performance, as well as counseling students regularly. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to diversity. The applicant is also expected to participate in the Department’s research and service responsibilities as assigned. An opportunity for one day per week private practice is available.
