Description

The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for an Instructional Assistant Professor position at the Higher Education Center at McAllen (HECM) beginning in spring semester 2025. This is a full-time, Academic Professional Track (non-tenure) teaching position with a 9-month academic appointment. Faculty in instructional assistant professor positions are expected to teach three courses per semester and perform service to the department and/or college. 

Qualifications

The applicant must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field or have a Masters level degree appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field. In addition, candidates must have very strong teaching credentials.
